3 Simple Hints You Should Know

First: Endurance is a term widely used in sport and can mean many different things to many different people. In sports it refers to an athlete's ability to sustain prolonged exercise for minutes, hours, or even days. Endurance requires the circulatory and respiratory systems to supply energy to the working muscles in order to support sustained physical activity. Endurance often equated with aerobic exercises and cardiovascular fitness. Aerobic means "with oxygen" and during aerobic exercise the body uses oxygen to help supply the energy needed for exercise.

Second: Functional movements are movements based on real-world situational biomechanics. Movements, such as a tennis, golf, basketball or martial arts, are based on functional movements. All functional movements are dependent on the body's core muscles. Functional movement involves strong movement involving the core, which refers to the muscles of the abdomen and spine, such as segmental stabilizers. Without strong core, you can not increase the endurance of your body.

Third: A holistic training must combine functional and endurance exercises based on real-world body movements. Martial arts is a good example of a holistic training that naturally and symmetrically increases strength, endurance and flexibility.
