Most of us understand that health and fitness depends upon the energy balance equation, which is the amount of energy you put into your body (food calories) versus the amount of energy you expend (activity). But how do you know how many calories your body needs to reach or maintain optimal levels of energy? Do not worry about counting calories. It is not the quantity of food that matters; it is the quality of food that is important.

Whether your fitness goal is reduced back pain and chronic fatigue, or improvement of your posture, creativity, productivity or overall physical health, the first step toward increasing your level of fitness is to adopt the Core Pillars, which makes all other fitness and wellness goals possible. During the next 100 days, adopting the Core Pillars will take some effort and consistent commitment, but, day by day, you will develop willpower and inner strength to create an exceptional life for you.
