Simple Snacks


  • Oats - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Wheat Bran - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Almonds - 1/2 cup (60 ml)
  • Sunflower seeds - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Flax seeds - 1 cup (250 ml)


  • Slightly blend all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor. Best if kept refrigerated.
  • This cereal can be used to enhance the nutrient value of your salad dressings, soups, stews or any juice or shake.


Any of the following combinations will make a great snack or meal replacement:

  • Yoghurt, prunes and Simple Cereal
  • Yoghurt nuts and Simple Cereal
  • Yoghurt raisins and Simple Cereal
  • Yogurt, Simple Cereal and natural maple syrup
  • Yogurt, nuts and natural maple syrup
  • Rice or cow milk, Simple Cereal and natural maple syrup
