I just stumbled across this post. I wanted to make one minor clarification. The Charleston tea plantation is not the only tea growers in the United States. Sakuma Bros. Farms in Burlington WA. also commercially grows tea. Admittedly, we are much smaller than the Charleston tea plantation. We are about an hour north of Seattle. Stop by and tour our fields.
