The Real Deal

Action Plan

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Decide on your goal for The Core Challenge, and then act as if you could not fail. Interestingly, this attitude of mind attracts to you forces from the universe that are fully capable of supporting you and bringing your decision into manifestation. Set a goal for yourself that is truly worthy of your potential. If you ask a lot from life, you will receive a lot. If you ask a little, that is what you will get. These easy steps can help you achieve your goal for the next 100 days:

1. Acknowledge That You Have A Goal: The first essential ingredient of success is to know what you want. There is no achievement without a clear goal. In whatever position you find yourself, determine your primary objective first. You know what your dreams are, you really do. Trust your intuition; there is a process of gestation so it might take some time to turn your goal into reality.
A goal gives you a place to start. If you don't know where you're going, how can you expect to get there? Until your thoughts are linked to a purpose there can be no accomplishment. Only you can determine what you want out of life for the next 100 days. The world always makes room for the person whose words and actions show that they know where they're going. For more information on goal setting, read Chapter 3 from The Core Challenge book.

2. Write Down Your Goal And Concentrate On It: How can you manifest your goal if you can't see what your goal is? Write it down. Don't judge your goal or wonder "how?" Just concentrate on working on one goal.
The first law of success is concentration. Focus all your energies on achieving one goal, and go directly to that goal, looking neither to the right nor the left. By focusing your efforts on a single goal, you'll always achieve the greatest results. If you concentrate your efforts on a major goal, your efficiency will soar, your projects will be completed, and you'll be going somewhere.
Focus totally on your daily activities and command yourself to do exactly what is explained in this manual. If you focus the full power of all you are on achieving a single goal, you'll attain success. See Appendix A.

3. Break Your Goal into Small Steps: All accomplishments in life happen when you take the first step. It doesn't have to be a large one. It just has to get you moving. Small steps will get you to your dreams. Until, one day, you realize that you are there.
There is no sudden leap to greatness. Your success lies in doing, day by day. Your upward reach comes from working well and carefully. Good work done little by little becomes great work. Success is not something you wait for, but rather something you achieve with effort. Things won't turn up in this world until you turn them up. The secret is persistence. A bottle fills drop by drop.

4. Accept change with a smile: Life is made up of a series of experiences. Each one will make you stronger, even though it may be hard for you to realize it at the time. Life is your classroom in which you're being tested, tried, and passed. Always try to stay in the midst of life and activity. Don't isolate yourself from the action. Your character develops itself in the stream of life. The setbacks and hardships you endure actually help you in your march forward to success. The world was built to develop your character.
Life expects you to change in reasonable time. What's keeping you from manifesting your goals? Not enough money or time? Too many responsibilities? Look for ways to overcome this. There will always be a reason not to do something or track your daily activities for The Core Challenge. It's up to you if you want to give into these reasons or not. It's up to you to win or lose.

5. Find People Who Will Support You: You're not an isolated island. You're a piece of the planet, a piece of the universe. You do not exist for yourself. Help someone's boat across a river and you'll find your own boat has reached the shore too. The only hurdle between you and what you want to be is the support of others. They should be people who love you and will cheer you on as you move toward your dreams. Tell them how much you love and appreciate them. You do not want to live your dreams by yourself.
To gain the support from others, always think in terms of what the other person wants. Put yourself in another's place, and you'll know why they think and do certain things. You can succeed fastest by helping others to succeed and gaining their support. You'll get everything in life that you want if you'll help enough other people get what they want. Doing things for others always pays dividends. Personal relationships are the fertile soil from which all advancement, all success and all achievement in real life grows.

6. Pat Yourself On The Back For Your Successes: You deserve it! The fun part of living your dreams is the journey. It's the piece that builds character and the piece that you will remember the most. Successful people recognize that one of the key criteria that enabled their achievements is their ability to celebrate success. It allows them time to stop and review what got them to where they are now. They can analyze the success enablers and plan how to do more of what they do well. It also gives them the time to explore what they could do differently, in the future, to allow step by step change from being great to becoming exceptional. This creates ambitious and stretch thinking which in return leads to more success.

7. Recognize That Fear Will Not Go Away: One of the greatest surprises you'll experience, is when you discover that you can do what you were afraid you couldn't do. Your obstacles will melt away, if instead of cowering before them, you make up your mind to walk boldly through them. There are times when you will wonder if you have what it takes to fulfill your goals or if you deserve to live them. Fear is a normal part of human nature. Do the things you fear, and fear will disappear. Confront your fears, list them, get to know them and only then will you be able to put them aside and move ahead.

The only thing you have to fear, is fear itself. If you can accept that fear will occur during The Core Challenge then you don't have to spend time worrying about what you will do if you do get afraid because you will have this part handled. When you face the things that scare you, you open the door to freedom. You can do it!
The next 100 days will build upon each other in a straight line, aiming towards your goal for The Core Challenge - every day GREATER than the last.
