A
little more than a decade ago I fell ill with rheumatoid arthritis. Within one
year, using the tools of optimal nutrition, meditation and alternative healing
practices, I was virtually free of the condition. I became passionately committed
to sharing with others the possibility for their return to wellness using natural
methods and honouring the healing intelligence of the body. My first venture into
an alternative modality was Reiki, and within a year I became a certified Reiki
Master and have practised for ten years. Subsequently, through continuing research
into the field of mind/body "medicine", I also took advanced training
in Integrated Energy Therapy (IET), a powerful energy "cousin" to Reiki.
During
a conference in Tampa, Florida a few years ago I met a dental hygienist who told
me briefly of a simple yet extremely effective technique for ridding oneself of
long-held fears and limiting beliefs, and allowing inner peace and openness to
a life of joy and fulfillment. In her practice it served to calm and relax her
patients in the dentist chair. The technique is EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
and upon being re-introduced a year later I trained for the advanced certificate
of completion. EFT has become an extraordinary partner of my established practices.
I now combine these with the function of nutritional consultant, as I assist clientele
in utilizing body cleansing/detoxification and quality nutrients to help restore
and maintain a state of balance and vitality.
There was yet one "cornerstone"
of my wellness practice that had not been established. I had not found an exercise
system that offered a high level of effectiveness combined with convenience, safety,
economy and appeal to individuals at all age and fitness levels. A few months
ago I was presented with the answer - the Master Moves Core Training System. Since
using this program for several months I have been greatly impressed by my increased
endurance and energy, improved posture and coordination, and body toning. A great

During my recovery from arthritis I sustained
