What Are Your New Year's Resolutions?

The celebration of the New Year is the oldest of all holidays. It was first observed in ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago. In the years around 2000 BC, Babylonians celebrated the beginning of a new year on what is now March 23, although they themselves had no written calendar.

Together with this important celebration, most people set important commitments or resolutions for the New Year. A New Year's resolution or a commitment is done to make your new year a better one. If someone makes resolutions to reform a habit, then there are people who want to make changes in their lifestyle. These promises are made on New Year's Day, the first day of a brand new year. While we all know New Year's resolutions are far easier to make than they are to keep, it doesn't stop us from promising ourselves a more successful, more productive and happier year than the last one.

Essential Nutrients

Tuna & Potato Salad (Recipe for 4 servings)

Ingredient Amount

Tuna, drained 1 (6 ounce) can
Mayonnaise 2 tablespoon
Plain Yogurt 4 tablespoon
Finely chopped red onion 1/4 cup
Chopped dill pickle 1/4 cup
Chopped boiled potatoes 2 cup
Chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup
Finely chopped celery 1/4 cup
Salt / pepper / oregano To your taste

Directions
Mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, red onion, celery, dill pickle, potatoes, and parsley; chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving. Add salt, pepper and oregano to your taste.
